All health benefits are effective on the first day of the month after completion of 30 days of service
MEDICAL
Employees are offered the choice of three Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans. Plan 1 is at a cost to the employee (dependent coverage also available at a cost) with lower co-pays. Plan 2 is at no cost to the employee (dependent coverage also available at a cost) with slightly higher co-pays. Plan 3 is an HDHP (High Deductible Health Plan) that is HSA-compliant and is offered at no cost to the employee (dependent coverage also available at a cost). Naturipe® Farms does offer Domestic Partner coverage and all plans include prescription drug coverage.
DENTAL
Dental coverage for employee and dependents is at no cost through Standard (providing that the employee chooses a medical plan).
VISION
Vision coverage for employee and dependents is available for purchase through Standard.
FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS
Both Healthcare and Dependent Care Spending accounts are available for employees to defer up to $5,000 annually on a pre-tax basis and reimburse for eligible expenses.

LIFE/ACCIDENTAL DEATH & DISMEMBERMENT INSURANCE
Coverage of $50,000 is provided for each employee at no cost through Standard.
LONG TERM DISABILY
Long Term Disability coverage for employees is provided at no cost through Northwestern Mutual.
SHORT TERM DISABILITY
Short Term Disability coverage for employees is available for purchase through Standard.
VOLUNTARY TERM LIFE INSURANCE
Additional voluntary term life insurance can be purchased for both employees and dependents through Standard.
SUPPLEMENTAL BENEFITS
In conjunction with Colonial Life Insurance, Naturipe Farms offers Accident Insurance, Disability Insurance, Cancer Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, Hospital Confinement Insurance and Universal Life Insurance. All coverages are paid via payroll deduction and most are offered on a pre-tax basis and available to both employees and their families.

401(k) PLAN
A 401(k) savings plan is offered that allows you to save a portion of your pre-tax income for retirement. Employees may contribute any amount of their pre-tax income up to the federal limits and can begin contributing after completion of thirty (30) days of service. Naturipe® Farms provides a safe harbor non-elective contribution of 4% of your total compensation after completion of one (1) year of service which is immediately 100% vested.

EDUCATION REIMBURSEMENT
The program allows employees who have completed at least six (6) months of service to take approved, work-related courses and receive up to $4,000 reimbursement per calendar year.
